Whether you have run out of a medication, left a prescription behind, or need something handled quietly while you are on the coast, Longevity Marbella provides private, specialist-led prescriptions after a proper consultation, in full confidence.

This is not a faceless online form that issues a script to anyone who fills in a box. Every prescription is reviewed and issued by a doctor double board-certified in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology, who looks at your history and your reason for the medication first. It is concierge medicine: private, unhurried, and held to the same clinical standard as our long-term patients receive.

Hormonal and endocrine prescriptions

This is the area where a specialist genuinely matters. A prescription for hormone therapy, thyroid medication, or a hormonal treatment used for a medical condition should be handled by someone who understands the whole picture, not issued blindly. If you are already established on treatment, we can review it and, where appropriate, continue it so nothing is interrupted. Related care includes HRT and menopause and testosterone replacement therapy.

Everyday prescriptions while you are on the coast

Beyond hormones, many routine, non-controlled medications that come up in general medical care can be continued after consultation, for example thyroid, blood pressure or cholesterol treatment. Some medications require prior records or tests before they can be issued, and we will tell you clearly and quickly what is possible in your case.

• A short private consultation, by secure video, at your hotel or villa, or in clinic.
• A review of your history and your reason for the medication, with any records you can share.
• A private prescription where appropriate, issued on clinical judgment, that can be filled at a local pharmacy.
• Continuity if you need it, so your treatment carries on smoothly for the rest of your stay.

What we will and will not do

Being clear about this is part of doing it properly. Prescriptions are always issued after a consultation and at the physician's clinical discretion, never automatically. We do not provide on-demand prescriptions for controlled or high-risk medications, and some treatments cannot be issued without prior records or assessment. If something is not appropriate to prescribe, we will say so and, where we can, point you to the right care.
